Anthony Morrow Charities is a 501(c)3 non-profit founded by NBA Veteran Anthony Morrow in 2013. They’re committed to empowering under-served communities by investing in life-changing philanthropic initiatives and programs that provide the resources children and families need to thrive and transform their futures. The goal was to give their website a fun yet professional makeover to not only to showcase their work as a nonprofit, but to also encourage people to volunteer and donate.
A well-designed website is essential for any nonprofit organization as it is often the first point of contact between the organization and potential donors, volunteers, and other stakeholders. It can be a powerful tool for fundraising and volunteer recruitment, as it allows visitors to easily make donations and sign up to volunteer with the organization. Anthony Morrow’s existing website was not truly succeeding in connecting with its audience. That’s where DLP came in.
We started with an assessment of the organization’s goals, which included an analysis of the organization’s mission and vision, current resources, target audiences, and existing website content. With this information, we created a design plan that outlined the desired objectives, design elements, and user experience of the website. The final website encompassed the organization’s mission as well as Anthony Morrow’s style, resulting in a feel-good website that shows how kindness and generosity can bring the community together.
